Finally some wind!

Great racing. Well done to Dan on showing us how it is done.

Slalom Racers can tune up from November through to March on Wednesday nights at Pelican Point followed by refreshments and a chance to learn from the best. 

Only bragging rights so all welcome.

Briefing at 5.20pm at the red tent. 2 laps of a figure 8 course. As many races as people want.

Join in any time during the evening or just come for the refreshments.

Please note: For insurance reasons you need to be a WWA member (or member of another state windsurfing organisation, or an affiliated club SBWC or GWC) to enter the slalom racing. Membership is not available on the day. Join Here

Summer Twilight Series

Briefing at 5.20 and promptly starting at 5.30pm

Windforce & Windsurfing Western Australia are again running a Wednesday night Twilight Series this Summer.

Why should the Yachties have all the fun?

This is a just for fun event and is designed to attract all levels of sailor that want a bit of fun and experience.

We will get on the water at 5.30 and wherever possible try to get as many heats in as we can.

Windy Conditions = Slalom, Freeride or Wave gear.

Light Conditions = Big boards (Formula and Longboards)

We will have a start sequence and a designated course to sail as per a normal race, so you can get the feel of how racing works. There will be a number of the top sailors on the water, so you can pick up a few tips. We will have a score board to record your finishing position in each heat and tally the final results. The Twilight Series is a great training ground for the real thing.

In the same way that yacht clubs attract experienced and inexperienced sailors all just wanting to have some fun and share a common passion we are going to do the same. Bring down some mates or come down by yourself as everyone is welcome!!!
