THANK YOU for taking an interest in volunteering at the Wave Rally World Championships! Volunteers play a vital role in delivering a successful event, contributing to a positive experience for competitors and attendees alike.

As a Volunteer, you will receive the following benefits:

• A warm fuzzy feeling from helping deliver an amazing Windsurfing WA event.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with event logistics, supporting competitors, and ensuring the smooth running of the event.

Tasks may involve:

1. Registration and Check-in: Assisting with participant registration and distributing event materials.
2. General Administration: Helping with timekeeping, score recording, and managing event communications.
3. Race Support: Providing support to competitors on the beach or water, including assisting with race management, starting and ending heats, and communicating event schedules.
4. Spectator Assistance: Guiding spectators, answering questions, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
5. Safety Monitoring: Ensuring participants and spectators are aware of safety procedures, potentially assisting with water safety if required.

The event runs from Friday 9th to the Sunday 11th of January, 2026 and volunteering can be as little as a few hours to as much as you want.

Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email with all the infomation you need to become informed on the tasks. An online roster where you can fill out your shifts will become available after registration.
